I don’t know of a better way to maintain the health of your PC than Kaspersky PURE. Health means keeping your machine virus-free. It means only allowing the software you choose to run on your PC, not someone else’s software. Kaspersky PURE is constantly being improved, and ease-of-use is an important factor.
Kaspersky PURE is not the only product they provide of course, but, for a lightning review – -
- Kaspersky Anti-Virus is excellent;
- Kaspersky Internet Security is even better;
- Kaspersky PURE has all the features of the above, plus valuable extras.
As an example, one of the valuable extras is the built-in Control Centre where you can manage other home networked PCs having PURE installed. This is a time-saver and adds considerably to the security of the home network.
There is a special protected area (which they call a ‘Sandbox’) where you can run software in a guaranteed safe environment. The software can be selected by the user.
You don’t have to purchase any extra software for filling in forms. It’s provided. Included in this is password security, plus a special keyboard for keying in invisibly. This makes it difficult for keylogging malware, the malware that ‘looks at’ what you are keying in.
Regarding your family, do you wish to prevent them growing up to be zombies after spending a childhood and their teenage years mesmerised in front of a computer screen?
Well, you can take advantage of the Parental Control module. Only allow certain programs to be run, certain material to be displayed, certain people blocked for interaction with your family. You can get detailed reports if you want. If you want to check whether you have it set up correctly just contact Kaspersky by phone or email.
By the way, I have found that Kaspersky keep an excellent standard of support.
Do you have very personal stuff stored on your PC? Have hackers been rampant on your desktop, storing adult material for sending to other computers under their control? Don’t worry, you can delete all that, and to make absolutely sure you can shred it so that it’s irretrievable. Basically it is shredded twice.
Not only do you have the Sandbox for programs, you can have special areas on your disk which are specially protected from being accessed by anyone else.
You’ve got: a backup facility; means of creating a rescue disk; in-built logic to even detect unknown viruses; spam blocking, and more.
